MyKingstonKids is a creative, community driven nonprofit that brings imagination, joy and opportunity to children and families in Kingston and the Hudson Valley.
Who We Are
MyKingstonKids is a creative, community driven nonprofit dedicated to bringing imagination, joy and opportunity to the children and families of Kingston and the Hudson Valley. Since launching in 2016, we have grown from a small vision into a full ecosystem of events, programs, media and youth empowerment experiences that inspire kids to dream bigger, explore boldly and feel like they truly belong.
For nearly a decade we have produced some of the region's most beloved family festivals including Black History Kingston, the Hudson Valley Kite Festival, the Halloween Parade, Children's Summer Gala and more. Everything we do is rooted in one belief: Children deserve wonder, community and the freedom to imagine.
As we celebrate our 10 Year Anniversary through the Imagine 10 initiative, we are expanding our work with new programs, immersive experiences and a citywide commitment to the next generation of Kingston youth.

To create safe, imaginative and culturally rich experiences for children and families through events, programs, media and community partnerships that support learning, creativity, wellness and joy.

To build a community where every child feels seen, supported and empowered to imagine a brighter future, and where creativity becomes a pathway to growth, opportunity and lifelong curiosity.
Our Journey
What began in 2016 as a simple idea from founders Frank and his team has grown into one of Kingston's most innovative family organizations.
Over the years, we have:
- Expanded our programs to include photography, nature exploration, grief awareness, creative arts, wellness, digital learning and more
- Produced major citywide events that uplift local culture and bring families together
- Developed youth-centered businesses and experiences such as Imagine Gaming & Party Rentals, Slime Cart, sensory zones and Imagine Island Fun Zones
- Built strong partnerships with schools, nonprofits, colleges, agencies and businesses across the Hudson Valley
Through it all, one promise guides us: We show up for the kids.
