Become a MyKingstonKids Volunteer
Help us create magical free experiences for kids and families in Kingston and beyond.
Last year our volunteers helped bring MyKingstonKids events to life for hundreds of kids and families.
Why Volunteer With Us
MyKingstonKids is on a mission to provide imaginative experiences for kids and families throughout Kingston and the Hudson Valley. Through free events, creative programs, and community partnerships, we bring joy, learning, and connection to children of all backgrounds.
Volunteers are the heart of everything we do. From Kids Fest to Halloween Fest, from Black History Kingston celebrations to the Hudson Valley Kite Fest, from the Children's Summer Gala to our Slime Cart pop-ups, Imagine Gaming trailer, Fun Zones, and Ride Red pedicab rides—none of it happens without you. Your energy, creativity, and commitment make the magic real.
When you volunteer with MyKingstonKids, you're not just helping run an event. You're creating moments that kids and families remember forever. You're building community. You're making Kingston a more imaginative, connected, and joyful place for everyone.
"Volunteers are the heart of MyKingstonKids. Without you there is no magic."
— Frank Waters, Executive Director
"I started volunteering at one event and now I'm part of the core crew. The kids' smiles and the energy at every event keep me coming back. It's the best way to give back to my community."
— Current MyKK Volunteer
