Mindful Mashup

Facilitated by C.K. (Missy) McGhee, NYCPS

Director of Mental Health and Wellness

Mindful Mashup is a creative and supportive space where Peer Specialists guide participants through meaningful conversations and activities that promote emotional wellness. The class blends mindfulness practices with open dialogue, helping everyone feel heard, understood, and connected. Peer Specialists create a safe and inclusive environment by listening with care, validating feelings, and encouraging participation at a comfortable pace. Through shared experiences, music, and positive rapport, Mindful Mashup helps participants build confidence, strengthen self-awareness, and explore healthy ways to navigate life.
