About the Program

Adventure Camp gives children the opportunity to explore nature, build confidence and develop leadership skills through guided outdoor activities. Campers experience hiking, ecology, forest games, team challenges and creativity in nature.

A Week in the Wild

Adventure Camp invites kids into the heart of nature for a week of hands-on learning and outdoor exploration. Through guided hikes, ecology lessons, team-building activities and creative adventures, children learn to navigate the natural world with confidence and curiosity.

Led by outdoor educators at the Ashokan Center, campers discover the importance of stewardship, respect for the environment and the joy of being unplugged in nature. From forest trails to meadows, streams and wildlife encounters, every moment inspires growth, wonder and imagination.
